Las causas que producen un coma etílico:  Es causado por un consumo importante de alcohol, generalmente durante un período corto. Cuanto más rápido es absorbido el alcohol, mayor es el riesgo de sufrir un coma etílico.
El coma suele ocurrir cuando el porcentaje de alcohol en sangre supera los 300 mg/dl.
